F.I.T. for Life

Here at Whipple Heights Alliance Church, we call the fitness ministry F.I.T for Life — Food, Information, and Training for Life. Our mission is to create an environment in which we encourage one another to become better stewards of our bodies through cardiovascular fitness, strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and nutrition — all through a Biblical worldview.

F.I.T for Life is a fitness ministry that helps people get off the couch and on their feet. It exists with the hope that participants will feel empowered and encouraged to achieve their health and wellness goals while building relationships with others who share similar fitness goals.

Why REFIT?

We use the REFIT® program as the core of F.I.T for Life because:

  • we want everyone to be able to participate in the class (not just fitness fanatics)
  • we want to make sure that all music we use is safe and positive
  • we want to bring about change in the mind, body, and spirit
  • we want to make connections in our community

...that is the heartbeat of REFIT®. Our REFIT® classes bring together people of varied shapes, sizes, ages, fitness levels, walks of life, and cultures. Our classes are designed to provide a safe, non-threatening environment where you can feel comfortable in your own skin. We don’t care if participants can dance or not. We tell them if they are moving to the beat they are doing REFIT® and they are getting fit... F.I.T for Life!

When: 3rd Mondays, 7-8pm
Where: at the church (Directions)
