Welcome (from Pastor Scott)

Welcome!

We are so glad you are here and are taking the time to get to know some more about Whipple Heights Alliance Church. As you do, I hope you will see that we are all about two things: embracing grace and extending grace.

Embracing Grace

When we talk about embracing grace, we mean accepting God's crazy, over-the-top love for us expressed best in the life and death of His son Jesus Christ on the cross. When we embrace all that Jesus did for us—for me—then He begins a work in our lives to change and transform us into all he wants us to be. Not because we earned it or deserve it, but just because He is an amazing God! That's grace! You will see that we have lots of opportunities for you to embrace grace. From Sunday services where the bible is taught and sung about and the atmosphere is casual, to smaller groups for men and women that meet at various times during the week, to Sunday school classes for adults, youth, and children. Check out our calendar for more information.

Extending Grace

But true grace doesn't stop with me. It is so amazing that we need to extend it to others. If God loved us so much that He gave us his one and only son to die for our sin, shouldn't we show and tell others about this amazing good news? We do this in a number of ways here at Whipple Heights Alliance Church. We love our communities and want them to embrace the grace of Jesus. To do that, we extend grace through the Pregnancy Support Center, the Refuge of Hope and The Martin Center, as well as supporting and sending missionaries all around the world.

Take your time getting to know who we are, and I hope we can get to know you as well. Whipple Heights Alliance Church is a great place for you and your family to grow while gaining friends for life.

If we can help you in any way, don't hesitate to call the church office. See you soon!
